What we do

We deploy conversational AI agents that handle a business's first point of contact. The main product is a voice receptionist: when a call goes unanswered, the line forwards to the service, the agent picks up, works out what the caller needs, takes the request and logs it so staff can pick it up later. We have also built a WhatsApp engine, which today has no contracted customer.

We do not sell a software licence for you to configure yourself. It is a managed service: we build the agent around your hours, your services and your tone, test it, switch it on and maintain it. If you ever want to stop, the forwarding stops and your line works exactly as before.

Who we serve

The focus is healthcare and local businesses: dental clinics first, then physiotherapy and aesthetics. In these businesses an unanswered call almost always means a patient calling the next clinic on the list, and the front desk is already busy with the person standing in front of them.

Outside healthcare we work with restaurants and with specific industrial verticals (heating-oil distribution, elevator maintenance), where the problem is the same: the phone rings after hours and nobody is there.

On what technology

Voice runs on ElevenLabs Agents with Claude Haiku 4.5 as the language model, plus our own TypeScript service handling webhooks and agent tools. Telephony is Twilio. Data lives in Supabase, in the eu-west-1 region. Our infrastructure is a dedicated server in Germany running Docker, and the website is deployed on Vercel.

Nothing that handles patients leaves the European Union, and voice transcripts are purged after six months. The architecture page has the detail on the stack and the security measures.

How we charge

A one-off setup fee covering agent configuration, integrations and testing, then a monthly fee. The voice channel is billed on actual conversation minutes, with a monthly minimum covering availability, maintenance and support.

We do not sell unlimited minutes at a flat rate, and that is deliberate: a voice minute has a real cost to the provider, and a flat rate would force the customer to guess a volume they have not measured yet. Figures are settled in a thirty-minute session, once we know how many calls the business receives.

What we guarantee

After 90 days, if the agent has not handled 95% of the calls forwarded to the service, every maintenance fee for those three months is refunded and the customer can leave with no notice. The setup fee is not refunded.

That is the metric, and not another, because it is the only one we control end to end and can prove from our own records. Tying the guarantee to "appointments booked" or "new patients" would depend on the customer's conversion, their prices and their calendar, and we would end up arguing about a refund for something that is not ours.

AI and regulation

The agent discloses that it is an artificial intelligence in the first message of every call, as required by Article 50 of the EU AI Act, and also warns that the conversation is transcribed.

The agent detects the alert situations the customer has written into their own protocol and hands them to a person. It does not assess how serious anything is, does not set priorities between people and does not replace clinical judgement. The distinction is not cosmetic: a system that scored emergencies to decide who gets seen first would fall under Annex III of the AI Act, with every obligation that carries.

Where we are right now

We are a young company and we would rather say so than dress it up. We are currently deploying the service in a Catalan dental clinic. It is our first real deployment and it has not fully gone live yet.

That means you will not find case studies or improvement percentages on this site: we have none of our own and we are not going to publish invented ones. The scenarios and figures that appear on some pages are labelled as illustrative. When we have real data and the customer authorises us to publish it, we will publish it under their name.

Which Noema we are, and which we are not

Several unrelated organisations share the name "Noema". To avoid confusion:

  • We are Noema Automations, S.L., VAT ESB88880364, based in Folgueroles (Catalonia, Spain), and our domain is noemaautomations.com.
  • We are unrelated to Noema (noema.tech), the computer-vision company in the United States.
  • We are unrelated to Noema Magazine, the essay publication.
  • We are unrelated to the Noema mobile app for running local language models.
  • In phenomenology, a "noema" is the content of an act of consciousness. That is where the name comes from, and nothing else.

Let us talk for thirty minutes

If your business is losing calls, the useful conversation is short: how many you lose, when, and what happens to each one.
